“Every kid wants a chance to play High School BB and every High School player wants a chance to play College BB Most development today focuses on ‘team ball’, with lots of time spent on conditioning, putting in plays and games to be played. The ‘missing link’ for most kids is Individual Skill Development of the Fundamentals – perfect practice makes perfect play. This is where TIBBS shines. They are totally focused on taking a player from their current skill level to the next level and beyond. TIBBS does this in a totally positive way, in a controlled environment that expects hard work as your child learns and develops their individual skills. The individual and small group sessions give the instructors and players significant opportunities for coaching and skill repetitions. Combine all of this with a Totally Positive and Controlled Coaching Environment and it’s easy to see why players make steady and marked improvements in their game. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TIBBS for those who want to give their children the very best opportunity to succeed!”

“My son is 13 years old, and has been playing Y-Youth basketball since he was 6 years old. At an early age, it was evident that he had some above average skills and he really embraced basketball as his favorite sport, and slowly fell away from soccer, baseball, etc. We have always had him in all of the local camps and clinics, but thought that we would give him a chance to really develop his skills at TIBBS. We enrolled him in 8 sessions at TIBBS before the start of this years ABL season and we saw an immediate improvement in all basic skills, but his floor awareness, ball handling and shooting ability really improved and in-turn, so did his confidence level. He tried out and made first team at his Junior High School and had a very successful season. Because of his increased level of play, he has been asked to join a few traveling teams. We are VERY pleased with the coaching and tutelage that Nate, Matt, and the entire staff provided at TIBBS and highly recommend the Tibbetts Instructional Basketball School to anyone that has a child interested in improving his or her game.”
Thanks Tons!!!

"I would recommend TIBBS for any of my players. The staff, instruction, and facilities are top-notch. We have had several players work-out at TIBBS and they have enjoyed the experience. The instructors have a great knowledge of the game and are enthusiastic about what they do. They care about getting kids better on and off the court."

“Four years ago, my oldest son started working out with Matt & Nate in the basement of a house. At that time, my son had little interest in sports, especially basketball, and had no desire to practice. After his first workout, he gained a confidence that I had never seen before; he couldn’t wait to go back. After a few more workouts, he gained a desire to practice and to improve as a basketball player. Now, he never misses a day to practice basketball, even during football and baseball season! Matt and Nate found a way to motivate him and instill a confidence in him that transferred into an incredible work ethic and desire to be the best in everything that he does. Even 4 years later, he can't wait to go 'get a workout.' This wasn’t a one time thing! Now my younger son, a fourth grader, is going through the program. Even though he is different from his brother, he is starting to gain the same confidence and desires that his older brother has. He, too, looks forward to the individualized attention that is focused on his particular strengths and weaknesses! This is nothing like he ever received from a traditional 'basketball camp.' I have recommended Tibbs basketball to all of my friends. I have referred over 30 kids to the program and continue to do it on a daily basis because what it has done for my kids. It is the best investment we have ever made to further our children’s basketball skills.”

"My son has worked with Nate, Matt and the other coaches at TIBBS for a little more than one year. They have done a great job in teaching the fundamentals of the game - in a clear and detailed manner, with high expectations of the player. Over that time, he has not only grown in his basketball skills and his love for the game, he has also had a lot of fun. Lee enjoys a lot of sports and other activities, and with that has a full schedule (like most kids) - but he really looks forward to going to TIBBS each week. I can see from his enthusiasm - before and after the practice - that Tibbs is doing a great job. I appreciate the fact that Nate and Matt have worked to know him personally and understand his strengths, weaknesses and personality - it is clear they care about the his individual development and enjoyment. Between the combination of the development and learning...along with the positive and fun environment Nate and Matt have created...I am sure he will continue with TIBBS for a long time. We would (and have) highly recommend TIBBS to anyone looking to provide their child a positive, challenging and fun setting to learn the game of basketball...with personal attention from some great coaches."

"My son always had the potential of being a good basketball player. The ability and drive to play the game were there. He just lacked the discipline to work on the fundamentals, and the self-confidence to believe in his talents. Unfortunately, most camps now-a-days focus more on team scrimmages then teaching kids the fundamentals of the game ... the no-look pass rather than a bounce pass ... NBA range with a complete disregard to proper form and shooting technique. Thankfully, we were fortunate enough to meet Matt Wilber and Nate Tibbetts. They are true professionals in educating today's youth in the game of basketball! By partaking in their individual workouts, my son was the beneficiary of years of basketball knowledge and experience; submersed in an environment conducive to learning the core fundamentals of the game; and consistently praised for his efforts during his instruction. They turned a good basketball player into a great basketball player! But more importantly, they have an approach to teaching the game of basketball that incorporates life skills, making my son a great kid on and off the court! We now live in Colorado. But rest assured, we will return to Sioux Falls, South Dakota every summer to take advantage of a wonderful opportunity not found anywhere else ... Matt WIlber, Nate Tibbetts and the Tibbetts Instructional Basketball School!"
