 Jake Holen comes to TIBBS from North Dakota where he was a stand-out on the high school and college courts as a shooter/scorer.
At LaMoure High School, he was a two-time member of the all-state team and Mr. Basketball canidate. Following his high school career, he attended Jamestown College. As a Jimmie, he set career records for Three point FG percentage (44.9%), Single Season Made Three Point FG (100), Single Season Scoring Record (687), an d Single Season Free Throw percentage (91%). Jake is the 3rd all-time leading scorer at Jamestown College.
During his senior year at Jamestown, he was the DAC-10 Senior Player of the Year. He was also a 3rd Team All-American. Holen was named to the DAC-10 all conference team his junior and senior years.
Jake resides in Sioux Falls with his wife, Ashley. He is a teacher at Axtell Park Middle School in Sioux Falls.
