Dylan Kvaale recently completed his playing and coaching career at the University of Sioux Falls. During the 2007-2008 season, he served as an assistant coach at USF. Prior to joining the coaching staff, he completed a stand-out career for the Cougars. He was a third-team All-America selection his senior year, averaging 17 points per game and helping lead his team to a GPAC title. As a junior, he was named to the second-team of the GPAC Conference for the conference champion Cougars. He scored more than 1,300 points i
n his career, which puts him in the top ten in USF history.
An Ellsworth, MN. native, Kvaale led his high school team to a runner-up finish in Class A boys basketball and a 30-3 record. He was all-conference and all-area two years and an honorable mention all-state selection. As a student at USF, he majored in history and education and completed his student teaching at Memorial Middle School as an eighth grade history teacher. Along with teaching at TIBBS, he also is active as a coach with a local youth team.
